Spring kicked off with two important trade shows, both located in the United States. High Point Market show cased a broader offering within the decor and interior designer industry, where as Light Fair International focuses on a specific market - architectural and commercial lighting.
HIGH POINT MARKET
Location: High Point, NC
High Point Market is one of the largest furnishing trade shows in the world that caters to buyers, interior designers, and architects with over 2,000 exhibitors present.
As an interior designer, I love to visit this particular market because you get to meet one on one, various brands and providers with unique styles and trends. It is an inspiring environment where you have access to ranges of antiques, traditional, transitional, and contemporary designs.
Here are a few images taken by me during my visit to HPM.
LIGHT FAIR INTERNATIONAL
Location: Chicago, IL
The LFI is a must-go if you are interested in being up to date with the latest innovations in the lighting industry. Lighting is one of the most important elements in interior renovations, so this event is particularly useful.
I was able to learn about upcoming trends, new techniques, and meet the creators in person. I brought back an array of catalogues that I can't wait to use in upcoming projects. One of the brands I loved, was Frame Wrx with ultra-modern exterior LED light options.
