The Art Basel 2024 week in Miami was an unforgettable experience, full of creativity, inspiration, and exceptional art. As an interior designer, I am always seeking new opportunities to innovate and offer the best to my clients, and this week was no exception. During my visit to "Art Miami," one of the most prominent galleries at the event, I had the opportunity to admire a variety of extraordinary art pieces, which I captured in photos and videos to share with you.
Among all these works, there was one piece in particular that completely captured my attention: "Circus VII", a piece by the renowned English painter and designer Henry Walsh. Walsh is known for his colorful and detailed scenes depicting crowds of tiny figures in intricate patterns and constellations. This piece, made with acrylic on canvas and measuring 100 x 100 cm, is a true testament to his mastery and distinctive style.
I was not only captivated by the visual richness and implicit narrative of the piece but also by how perfectly it fits into one of my most recent projects: the renovation of a penthouse located on the exclusive Fisher Island, Florida. This property, owned by clients from Mexico who use it as a vacation home, deserved an art piece that reflected their sophistication and elegance. Acquiring "Circus VII" was an exciting moment, and I am certain it will bring a unique touch to this residential space.
Art Basel is much more than an art event; it is an endless source of ideas and a reminder of the importance of incorporating art pieces that elevate interior designs. Every piece tells a story, and in this case, "Circus VII" will tell its story in a home where creativity and design converge.
